What is the CUNY Creative Arts Team's Early Learning Program?

For over 40 years, CAT has used the power of theater to address social, emotional and academic issues in schools and communities across New York City. Strengthening literacy is a specific goal of CAT. The Early Learning Program (ELP) draws on child development, education and drama theories to reach students in grades K-2 and their teachers through interactive drama residencies and professional development workshops.
